POSITION: FUNDRAISING & MARKETING ADMINISTRATOR

REPORT TO: Deputy Chief Executive Officer

DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of
Fundraising & Development, the Administration team and the
Communications Manager in further developing the Fundraising,
Marketing, Administration and Communications services at DFI.
Relationships will be developed and maintained with a range of
organisations and people.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
The role will involve providing administrative support to;
* projects aimed at diversifying and expanding how DFI generates
income,
* projects aimed at strengthening how DFI markets its activities,
* fundraising campaigns,
* developing digital and other strategies within DFI to increase
member engagement,
* tendering for services that DFI has a core competency in
delivering,
* expanding DFI?s online presence,
* supporting the roll out of national campaigns,
* providing assistance with arranging/scheduling meetings,
conferences and travel arrangements,
* general office duties,
* other such duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in an administrative role to include duties in the areas
of fundraising/marketing.
* Third level education to degree level or equivalent in marketing
would be an advantage.
* Experience of working on multiple tasks / projects at the same
time.
* The ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
* The ability to maintain and develop good administrative systems
and practices.
* Experience in project management and carrying a project to
completion.
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office, CRM, Social Media and Web based
platforms.
* Experience in meeting deadlines.
* A commitment to the role and value of the voluntary disability
sector.
